It is clear that laboratory analysis has become increasingly sophisticated and requires end-to-end traceability and accreditation. In order to fully answer these needs and also optimise laboratory efficiencies, we have now introduced new pre- and post-analytical laboratory automation systems for sample sorting and archiving.
The ABX SAT RL 1500 is a pre-analytical robotic tube sorting and rack loading device, whilst the ABX SAT TA 5000+ automatically sorts samples for further analysis or storage in a smart refrigerator. Suitable for mid to large size haematology laboratories, both systems contribute to a LEAN environment by optimising the sample sorting, archiving and retrieval processes, thereby offering considerable time, energy and cost savings. When combined, these solutions ensure optimal laboratory workflow and process efficiency.
